🎥 Getting Started: Sending Your Project Media to aLaPony LLC for a Video Editing Project

Welcome to the aLaPony family! We are excited to start creating your video project. The first step is gathering your "project assets"—the raw ingredients like footage, photos, drone flight locations, and 3D scanning site access.

📥 Three Ways to Share Your Media

  • Option A: Dropbox Upload (Recommended): I will email you a specific invitation link. No account is needed—simply drag and drop your files into the browser.
  • Option B: Email: Best for small files under 20MB. Send to Ted@aLaPonyLLC.com.
  • Option C: Physical Mail: For tapes, USB drives, or printed materials, mail to: aLaPony LLC, 34125 Center Ridge Rd, PO Box 39034, North Ridgeville, Ohio 44039.

✨ The Fun Extra: Music & Visuals

We include professional stock assets in your package. You have an incredible variety to select from, and we are certain you will find something you love!

  • Adobe Stock: Browse stock.adobe.com for visuals and music.
  • Musicbed: Browse musicbed.com for high-end cinematic music
  • Action: Email us the Asset ID or Song Title, and we can discuss incorporating it during our Zoom meeting.

⚖️ Content Policies:

We cannot include illegal, hateful, or graphically violent material. 🎬 What Happens Next?: Once we receive your media, I create a rough "pre-proposal" video. We will then meet on Zoom to "cull" the best shots. Following that, I send a formal proposal. Once signed and the 50% deposit is paid via our secure KeyBank link, your project is officially booked!

Property Preparation Guide: 3D Modeling & Aerial Imaging

To ensure your 3D walkthrough and aerial views are as professional as possible, please use this checklist to prepare the property before our scheduled site visit. Because the Insta360 X5 8K and our 6K Drone capture everything in high resolution, "hiding" clutter is the key to a "big-budget" feel.

Exterior & Drone Prep

  • Clear the Driveway: Please move all vehicles out of site, especially those on the street directly in front of the house, so they are not visible in the 360° or aerial shots.
  • Yard Maintenance: Ensure the grass is freshly cut and that all garden hoses, tools, toys, and trash cans are stored out of sight.
  • Neighborhood Notification: While not legally required, it is often helpful to let immediate neighbors know a drone will be operating briefly for 3D real estate photogrammetry.
  • Safety Clearances: Ensure there are no temporary obstructions like moving trucks or low-hanging decorations that might interfere with flight paths.

Interior 3D Prep (The "Hotel Look")

  • Declutter Surfaces: Clear all kitchen countertops, coffee tables, and bathroom vanities. Small appliances and personal items should be stored in cabinets.
  • Lighting Control: Replace any burnt-out lightbulbs before we arrive. We will turn on all interior lights and turn off all ceiling fans to prevent motion blur in the 8K 360° scans.
  • Windows and Doors: Please open all interior doors to allow the camera to "see" the flow of the home. Open blinds or curtains to let in natural light, but ensure windows are clean to avoid smudges in high-res renders.
  • Hide "Human" Elements: Tuck away pet bowls, beds, and toys. Ensure all toilet lids are closed and wastebaskets are hidden.

The "Ghost" Rule

  • Vacate the Space: Because the Insta360 X5 8K captures a full 360-degree view, people and pets cannot be in the room during the scan.
  • Hide During Scans: Please plan for everyone to be outside or in a garage/closet during the scanning process so no one appears accidentally in the final 3D model.

Next Steps

Once the site visit is complete, we will process the raw 8K data and 6K aerials to prepare for our Zoom "Storybook" meeting. We look forward to capturing your property in its best light!
